this is a very cool program, Very realistic FMS, autopilot and EICAS. I don't want to blemish a possibly awsome payware add on by Wilco. Probelm is when right click on FSX and select properties.that compatibility tab doesn't appear, but it does on FS2002 (which is also loaded on the same PC). You should then see a list of other OS modes you can choose from.

You right click on the program in question, select 'properties', then 'compatibility'.

One of these options is 'start cold and dark cockpit' As for running as Xp in the background. Another different thing about this add on is before you even start FSX, in the start menu, is a stand alone program that allows you to set your fuel, payload and other options on the 380. I can start cold and dark on other aircraft no problem.
